The sessions will be conducted from 2 to 4 p.m. at the OCBA’s office, 1760 S. Telegraph Road, Suite 100, Bloomfield Hills.

It will feature a mock client interview, and participants will receive a CD containing information about estate planning and sample forms and letters.

“Probate: Procedures and Tax Aspects” will cover probate procedures for decedents’ estates, guardianships and conservatorships; special procedures for Macomb, Oakland and Wayne probate courts; and tax aspects of probate. Participants will receive a CD containing information about probate and sample forms and pleadings.
“Buying, Selling and Transferring Personal Residences” will cover how to represent clients who are buying, selling or transferring personal residences, and the tax aspects involved in conveying a personal residence. Participants will receive a CD containing sample purchase agreements and deeds.

Participants who attend any or all of the sessions will be asked to handle two pro bono cases or perform 30 hours of pro bono work.
