Legal Aid and Defender to Hold Civil Legal Services Clinic for Seniors

DETROIT Legal Aid and Defender Association,
Inc. will conduct a free outreach clinic on civil legal services
for senior residents of Wayne County, including the city of Detroit,
who are 60 years of age or older at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16
at the Dearborn Senior Center in the Ford Performing Community Center,
15801 Michigan Ave., Dearborn.
Attendees are asked to register before 10:30 a.m., as a Legal Aid
attorney will assist only those persons who have done so by that
time.

Legal Aid and Defender provides free civil legal services to low-income
residents of Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties through its offices
in Mount Clemens, Pontiac and Detroit. It also represents criminal
defendants in Wayne County and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern
District of Michigan.
