Legal Aid and Defender to Hold Civil Legal Services Clinic for Seniors

DETROIT Legal Aid and Defender Association,
Inc. will conduct a free outreach clinic on civil legal services
for senior residents of Wayne County, including the city of Detroit,
who are 60 years of age or older at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2
at William D. Ford Senior Activity Center, 6750 Troy St., Taylor.
Attendees are asked to register before 10:30 a.m., as a Legal Aid
attorney will assist only those persons who have done so by that
time.

Legal Aid and Defender is Michigans largest provider of free
civil legal services to low-income residents. It serves metropolitan
Detroit through its offices in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties.

District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Including brief
consultations and comprehensive legal services, the public law firm
handles some 15,000 legal matters yearly.
